This was a commission for a friend of the family. The reference photo was only about 4x7, so it was extremely hard to see all the detail I needed, but I did what I could.

Working from a small, or faded reference can be a positive element, too, because it forces the mind to invent details and allows for artistic interpretation. You did an amazing job, as always! :clap:

Ahh, of course. Have you tried scanning photos at 600 dpi and then printing them out? The enlargement process might help out a bit with that. The other option, I suppose, would be to not use your eyes. ;)
