I love the cross hatching and how you simplified his features! It's very reminiscent of Basil Wolverton's more serious work. : ]

Wonderful pointillism technique in this portrait, which captures the essence of Albert Onestone. Being familiar with the source photo, I could tell the differences in expression between this and the reference photo, but that's being picky - highly rated :)

Thanks. I know it's not perfect and I plan on fixing some things if I get the chance. And who is Albert Onestone by the way?

Sorry - 'Ein Stein' translates from German into English as 'One stone' ;) Doesn't need fixing - I think it's works really well as it is :)

Thanks Ron! Einstein is one of my favorite historical characters. He wasn't all "E=mc˛". One time at a party loong time ago,a guest asked him to explain what a "wireless telegraph" is. Einstein replies,

"Imagine a very large cat. You pull it's tail in New York and it meows in Los Angeles. Wireless telegraphy is exactly like that, but without the cat." :)
